After 15 years in antique tool sales, this is the first brace marked JAMES SWAN we have seen or offered for sale I is considered quite rare, not because it is a high end brace, but because of the well known makers mark on it The brace appears to have once been completely nickel plated on the steel parts, only about 10 remains, but overall still in good condition with little wear to report, in very good working order.
