Two young Victorian girls enjoying the afternoon talking to themselves. The long dark haired girl is wearing a red velvet dress and the short wavy blonde haired girl wearing a cream lace gown. She is holding a bouquest of pink and white roses. Illustration was printed on thicker cardstock as a die-cut would of been. Has some gold beaded embellishments surroungint the immage. Quite possibly this illustration was created by MAUD HUMPHREY .These artists were prominent in this time era. It its lovely period antique gold gesso frame. Glass intact. The wood frame has intricate lacing type scrolling leaves. Really pretty. The gesso is pretty well intact. Two small flaked off areas missing, in lower left and right bottom corners. Have cleaned up the glass for you and replaced the paper backing. Old wiring, ready to hang up on your wall. Overall measures 8-3 4 inches wide by 9-3 4 inches high.
