Roseville: ROSEVILLE POTTERY Decorated LANDSCAPE Jardiniere Roseville Pottery Decorated Landscape Jardiniere is 6 3/4" tall and about 9" in diameter. Features flying Egret in 4 places around the top with colorful trees around the jardiniere. Has four little loop handles. I think this may have held an oil lamp at some time as there is some glaze chipping to the inner rim as if something rubbed it over time. Chipping is uniform and goes all the way around the inner rim right over the roll on the edge. It has the unusual crazing, no cracks or repairs. Nice solid ring to it. Great color and mold. A lovely very hard to find piece of Roseville Pottery. All of the white spots and streaks are light reflections from the high glaze of this piece.

Roseville: Roseville juvenile Baby's plate Roseville juvenile, baby’s plate is 8" across and has a rolled edge. In the middle are 4 rabbits with their ears up within a green circle. There is one rim chip 1/8th" long, and five nicks which are shown in close-ups below. There is also a tiny crack from around the top of the green circle, which also appears on the base. It was produced before 1916 through the mid 30’s. The paint on this piece is superb! Even though it has the few problems mentioned above, it is still one of the best pieces of Weller creamware juvenile that I’ve ever seen.

Roseville Pottery: Pottery Antique Roseville Jardinaire For sale is an antique Roseville matte green jardinaire. c: pre 1916. Fabulous arts & crafts jard with incised mark #456. It is a darker, flatter color than the camera photo shows it. It is not aqua, although it looks a bit aqua in the picture but when put next to an aqua planter, it is matter green but not a seaweed green. No chips or cracks and stands 7.75 tall x 8 wide at top rim. On one of the handles there are some ripples in the clay, (they are smooth with no change in texture); checked it with a black light and there is no evidence of any repairs; it is just a glaze irregularity. Some rust/mineral deposits on interior bottom of jard and a couple of tiny white paint specks, (looks like someone was painting their ceiling and forgot to cover the jard, most have been removed now). A fantastic early Roseville for your Mission style/Arts & Crafts room! This jard is shown on pg. 33 of the 1990 book by S. Huxford. Guaranteed vintage Roseville. Shipping to continental usa destinations only; if using paypal you must have a confirmed address. You might never come across this jard, it is a very hard to find item. esa-3-08-#1987
