For sale is a nice Ransbottom stoneware crock and 7 vintage kitchen gadets. The crock is handpainted with a rocking horse. Very heavy; RRP black stamp on bottom. Good condition, stands 5.25 tall x 5 wide. Perfect to hold utensils, or a poinsetta plant at x-mas! The gadgets include a Foley reamer; a patented Gunnard Co. jar opener, (old State abbreviation on it); a Roldip Canada scoop; a Mouli grater; an EKCO meat tenderizer; a strainer w/red handle; and measuring spoons. 11/09esa#+csest

Vintage Matte Ransbottom Vase

For sale is a vintage matte white Robinson Ransbottom vase. c:1939. Incised mark: 184 / USA and shown in the book on RRP. It is 8 tall x 6 wide. It has some flaws, but it displays great! Flaws: it has some pinpops; a 1 inch tight hairline near top rim; and 2 tiny glaze separation lines on top rim; and one glaze sep line on bottom interior. The glaze separation lines happen during firing of the clay. Price reflects the flaws.

Here is a great flower wall pocket; it is unmarked but looks like McCoy or Brush McCoy to me. I haven’t been able to find it in any reference book so I can’t say for sure. It is about 6¾" long and 3" in diameter at the top. The condition is excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs. This will make a great addition to anyone’s McCoy, Brush, Shawnee, Roseville, Weller or wall pocket collection.

For sale I have a Robinson Ransbottom, Roseville, Ohio No. 700 Mixing Bowl. It has a stress crack on the side and a stress crack on the bottom of the bowl. However, the bowl is not weak whatsoever. Other than that it is in very good vintage condition considering its age. The Bowl measures 9 inches across.

Vintage Soft Matte Green and Brown Blended Glaze Art Pottery Flower Frog. Unmarked--possibly Roseville pottery. This flower frog measures 2 7/8'' in diameter and 1 1/4'' tall. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing--just a little staining on the bottom which should come out. There are a couple of glaze skips and very slight curving on the bottom from manufacture (both very common to old USA pottery). Make this very attractive flower frog a part of your collection.

Vintage Hand Painted Stoneware Butter Crock

stoneware crock For sale is a vintage hand painted stoneware butter crock. Great looking, handpainted, artist signed, butter crock. Likely a RRP Roseville crock. It is signed, S. Class?, (hard to make out last name). It has no chips or cracks, but has some blue coloring on interior. It stands 4 tall x 6 wide. It is next to an RRP crock in one of the pics; same size dimensions. These make great African Violet planters; or you put a big candle in it out on your deck and it won't tip over!

Robinson Ransbottom advertising dish

Advertising piece for Robinson Ransbottom. This ashtray measures a little more than 5 ½" in diameter. High glaze medium brown glaze with a figure of a potter at a wheel, throwing a pot. Over him are the words Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co, and below, Roseville Ohio. The figures and words are molded in relief. Overall nice condition. Two factory misses - a small glaze miss above his arm, and a glaze pop below his elbow. Minimal wear to the high points on the crown. Two very tiny ( <1/16") edge glaze flakes, on the outside edge. (#T-1018)

Large Aqua Pottery Ashtray

This ashtray is just wonderful. It has an matte aqua base glazed with light creamy colored spots and then is festooned with snowball like decorations. It is marked on the bottom "402", but not other indication of maker is given. the quality of glaze and pottery reminds me of Roseville and Red wing. It is heavy and in excellent condition.

Large Robinson Ransbottom AKA RRP Co. Storage Crock or Low Butter done in a beige and glossy golden brown drip glaze. Probably from the 1960s-1970s era. Marked on the bottom R.R.P.Co. Roseville, O., USA. There is a very faint crackling effect to the top glaze but no chips or cracks. Also, there are a couple of spots of white paint visible on he bottom rim. This is a very heavy crock, useful for storing your kitchen gadgets, fruit or would work great as a planter.

Vintage 1950's Newcomb Pottery Turtle Planter

So Cute! Vintage 1950's Newcomb Pottery Turtle Planter. This piece was made by the Newcomb Pottery Company of Roseville which operated from 1950 to 1954. This sweet turtle is laying on his back taking a nap, his tummy area serves as the planter. He is 7" long by about 5 1/2'tall, marked on the bottom with Newcomb Pottery incised mark. He is in good condition, no chips, his planter area shows use, I have not attempted to clean it. A very nice addition to your collection!
