Pyrex Morning Blue Pattern Cup by Corning
This Pyrex glass coffee/tea cup were made by The Corning Glass Works Company of Corning New York. In 1915, a wondrous new line of glass dishes for baking appeared in the nation's hardware, department and china stores. On May 18, 1915, Boston department store Jordan Marsh placed the first Pyrex order. Sold under the Pyrex trademark, this transparent ovenware seemed to be the perfect material, for it was swift, clean, and economical. Over the 89 years since it was introduced, Pyrex products have seen many changes in design, color, decoration and accessories to keep pace with constantly changing fashions and cooking practices. Pyrex is now available in a large assortment of products perfect for preparing, taking, baking, serving and storing food. Done in dainty blue flowers under a blue garland the pattern name is Morning Blue and the cups are marked on the bottom: Pyrex/Microwave Safe/No Stovetop or Broiler/Corning USA. In very good + condition, they appear to have never been used and the cups measure 2 3/4 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches across the rim. I have 3 of these cups in stock. There is a flaw on the bottom handle by the screw. It feels smooth and may be from the factory or a professionally smoothed chip. I don't see any water film or staining. Pyrex Custards - Boxed & unused 7-pc set with rack. 6 each #445, 5 oz clear custards. 3-rings, rimless. T.M. REG mark. Original box - not in very good condition but mostly there. All appear to be unused, especially the rack. Circa 1942. This set was advertized as "No. 59 Custard Cup Set, Six 5 oz Dainty Custard Cups, Handy Wire Rack, Useful as a serving dish for fruit cup and desserts. Packed in a Gift Box".

Pyrex Delphite "Bluebelle" Mixing Bowl Set. 3 pieces. #401 1-1/2 pint, #402 1-1/2 quart, #403 2-1/2" quart. All three bowls standard are a different shade of blue. The #401 is the darkest and the #403 the lightest. Some of these were made in Canada. This set is all marked USA. All three are in very good condition. There are some slight utensile marks or scratches - possible from storage on the inside bottom of the bowls.

All of the pieces are mint including the designs which are 100% intact. The sizes are: 1 ½ qt, 1 ½ pint, and two ½ cup dishes. Circa 1960.

Pyrex Flameware (Top of Stove) 6 cup #8126 "American Hostess" teapot. Older with very dark blue tint and green ink logo mostly intact. Small flange knob lid. Dark metal banding and glass handle. The banding is almost black. I don't know if it was always that way or is aged. I have several this way and have seen many more. Circa around 1943. Overall very good condition. Shows some scratching from use.

Pyrex Round Casserole with lid. #683 1-1/2 quart. Red "Tulip" Design, T.M. REG mark, circa mid 1920's-1930's. Base is slightly faded in spots. Lid tulips a little more faded on one side as shown in photo. Still makes a very nice display piece.
