My name is Dana Balsamo and I own and operate Material Pleasures at home with my family. My husband, Joe, helps with the heavy lifting, vending at shows, and technical needs, while my littlest helpers, Sophia and Catie, assist with bidding at auctions and hunting for textiles at yard sales and estate sales.
I have been quilting for over 12 years, and with my love of quilting, came my love for quilt history, antique quilts, and eventually a love for all textiles.
I vend at various Antique Shows throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. And although I love the flexibility selling online gives me, the antique shows give me a chance to meet YOU! my customer.
Material Pleasures is mainly an at home business, it allows me to enjoy being a Stay at Home Mom.
